Music to My Ears

James took the boys up for a bath while I did the dishes. When he was finished I went upstairs and gave the boys their new bathrobes to wear. They've had them for a week but I kept forgetting to put them on. Jameson was a bit hesitant at first but then realized how cute he looked so they both decided to wear them while they played in the basement for a bit. I went back into the kitchen to finish my task as the boys headed downstairs. At this point James was "taking care of business". Shortly after the boys made it to the basement I heard some noise, it was James' cello. I knew he had been playing for them earlier this afternoon and figured he had forgotten to put it away. I quickly raced to the basement but not before I realized that it actually sounded not bad. I was torn, should I be angry because the kids were playing with a rather expensive intrument or should I be excited that one of my kids was a potential child prodigy? When I got to the bottom of the stairs I realized both of the kids were running their trucks back and forth across the basement. James had gone to the basement and was playing for the boys. Guess I missed seeing him go down. Whew, what a relief!
