Play Dough
My kids LOVE playdough. They love playing with it and making huge messes with it. I HATE playdough since my kids love making messes with it. They know the rule, only one colour at a time, but it still stresses me out. This is the way I look at it, don't I shell out big bucks so my kids can play with playdough at school? Sheesh.
Jonah
One of Jameson's favourite Bible stories is the one of Jonah being swallowed by the big whale. After several readings of the story I started asking Jameson questions to see if he was remembering and comprehending the story. When I asked him which city God told Jonah to go to he confidently replied "Enema". (The real answer is Nineveh.) I have no idea how he came up with that word but it sure did make me laugh.
Well, on Sunday or minister was preaching from the book of Jonah. James leaned over and said, "Didn't Jameson have something funny about that story?". I had forgotten but that quickly brought back the memory, and brought out the laughter. When I whispered "Enema" to James we almost lost it. Then I had to fill Adina in and she almost lost it. I felt like a teenager all over again.
