Snow

Jameson and I were sitting and talking on the couch (a rare quiet time while Stellan was sleeping). I asked him, "Who makes the snow?"
Without stopping to think he replied, "The snowman."
How cute is that?

Advent Calendar

I'm tired of explaining that Santa is NOT coming after lunch so I decided to make an advent calendar. Sure, I could have bought one but I decided to make one instead. I had some lovely watchmaker cases but have never used them so I decided to make the calendar using them. I stuck some magnets on the back and numbered stickers on the front. Then I filled them with M&M's. I put them on the fridge in the shape of a Christmas tree. How cute! I can't wait to see what the boys think when they see it in the morning. Granted, I was a few days late in making it so they get a lot of M&M's tomorrow. :)

James......

(This is retold as it was told to me by James when I came back from grocery shopping tonight.)

Apparently Jameson was being quite a stinker when James put him to bed. He was demanding different things to bring to bed with him. After several attempts to please him, James eventually told him enough was enough. This is what James heard coming from Jameson's room, "James, you're bad". How funny.

Train Spotting

I decided to take the boys to the train station to watch the trains. (Yeah, not everyone's idea of fun but they were in heaven!) Seeing as it was blustery and cold I told them that they would have to stay in the van to watch the trains. Stellan didn't mind, he was just thrilled to be going to the train station. Jameson, of course, complained. I told him that if he whined we would turn around and go home without seeing the trains. Shortly thereafter I heard him say, "Mommy. The police man will come up to us and tell us that we can't stay in the van. We'll have to get out to see the trains."
Where does he come up with these things?

As we were sitting there Stellan asked if Awison was coming on the train. Nope, she's still riding around enjoying the good life. :)
