Wegmans, again

James picked up the boys from Skipper Club last night so I could head over to Wegmans afterward. Saved me a ton of time. He's great!
I stopped by Whole Foods on my way; my first time there. I was very impressed with the quality of their produce and their selection. I wasn't so impressed with the prices. Granted, I'm not a granola and I don't eat many organic foods so it was more of an adventure for me. It was a bit strange to walk down the aisles and not recognize many of the labels. Oh well, good fun anyway. I did pick up a few things in the produce section, some face lotion for the kids (smells so yummy!) and some sushi for my dinner. I have to admit, the sushi was yummy yummy. I've never had it made with brown rice before; it makes a nice difference. Mmmmm.....so good!
When I got into Wegmans I have to say that I was a bit disappointed. :( Apparently it's not a good idea to go in there at 8 at night. Even though it was 2 hours before close, I still found certain areas (produce for example) rather sparse. I'm not sure where the produce goes at night (produce bed?) but I'm sure they don't want to restock if they have to take it all back into the coolers anyway. But still, come on. I think there were literally 10 bananas to choose from, none of them forming an actual bunch of bananas. Not impressed. I still managed to get everything I needed but it definitely put a damper on my opinion about the wonderful grocery store.
I think I might send them an e-mail and voice my opinion. I have to do that to Carter's to complain about Jameson's shoes that have fallen apart too early. I did e-mail the Body Shop last week to complain about spelling mistakes on their company web page. Hmmm....come to think of it, maybe I need a new hobby so I can leave these companies alone. :)

I am sending you a link to a website that I just found today!! Coincidence?? I just thought this was too ironic.

However, I think it's quite justifiable to complain to any organization or service if what they provide is totally unacceptable, especially if you can get something free out of it!!!
