The boys and I took advantage of the beautifully mild and sunny day and headed out to the park. We went to the local park so we could walk there. I brought the boys each a package of bear paw cookies for a snack while we were at the park. Jameson gobbled his down in no time at all. Stellan ate his at a leisurely pace, savouring each bite. Stellan even saved the second cookie for the trip home.
The kids were on the swings for quite a while but then I had them get off to go on the equipment since my arms were getting sore. They had a blast running around the play equipment, running up the stairs or climbing the rock wall, and sliding down the slide. It sure tired them out. :)
On the way back Stellan decided to enjoy his second cookie. Jameson whined for another cookie as well but I explained that he already had two. I get that it's difficult for a 3 year old to understand that concept so I asked Stellan if he would let Jameson have a bite. Being the sweet little boy that he can sometimes be, he offered his cookie to Jameson. Being the stinker that he can sometimes be, Jameson took the cookie and managed to shove half the cookie in his mouth one swift bite. What a bugger! I had to hide my face in my coat because I was laughing so hard. He sure knew how to get what he wanted. Poor Stellan didn't even notice. They're a great combination!
