Dinner

I made spaghetti for dinner, one of our favourite meals. When Jameson heard what we were having he said, "I don't feel good. I don't want to eat". Little stinker. The problem is that he forgets that he likes it so he puts up a struggle. Once he starts eating it he realizes that he actually likes it and sometimes ends up asking for more. I asked him to please eat at least one bite (I thought this would help to trigger his memory). He ate one tiny piece of pasta that barely had any sauce on it. OK, fine. He mentioned that his back was hurting and then asked to eat some fruit. I gave him a small piece of apple and the gave him some mandarins. He was eating a few and then gagged. I didn't think much of it until he started gagging some more and then ended up throwing up....all over me. Then all over the stools and the floor. And then into my hands because it was the quickest thing I could put under his mouth. It was so disgusting. Beyond disgusting!! My socks and genes were soaked. My sweater was splattered. I stunk! Jameson was crying. James was gagging. Stellan was confused. I hauled the kids upstairs into the tub. After some discussion we agreed that James got to clean up since I was the one drenched in vomit. So gross!
I got the kids cleaned up nicely and James did an amazing job on the clean up. Honestly, he is so thorough (due to his anal tendencies) it's amazing. Way to go sweetie!
I guess I'll listen the next time Jameson says he's not feeling well.
