Jameson and I had some alone time yesterday while Stellan was still sleeping. We sat together on the sofa and I asked him a few questions about Christmas. He told me that Jesus was born in a stable on some hay. He knew that Mary was Jesus' mother. He could also tell me that the shepherds and the wise men came to visit baby Jesus. When I asked him what gifts the wise men brought for baby Jesus, he proudly exclaimed, "Coal". Uh, close.
I then continued to ask him a few questions; specifially how Mary got to Bethlehem. "On a donkey. It wasn't comfortable!" What insight!
